This website celebrates the outcome of the participants on the “Creativity Thirst” programme for 2009, organised by the WEA, Belfast.
Here, you see a showcase of eight emerging craft and creative practitioners offering a range of skills, including glass, textiles, jewellery, photography, ceramics and digital media. Feel free to browse and contact any of the practitioners if you want to find out more about their products.
“Creativity Thirst” equips those wishing to set up their own businesses or gain extra income in the Creative Industries by putting participants through business skills programs that will allow them to assess the viability of their products in today’s market.
This particular programme was offered as a collaborative project between the WEA and Belfast City Council (BCC) and funded by BCC and the European Regional Development Fund through the Northern Ireland sustainable competitiveness programme.
